The Driftwood Players are pleased to feature the work of Kerry Hargreaves in
the theatre lobby during the run of Barefoot in the Park. Kerry Hargreaves
is the mother of a 2 year old, with another on the way, the wife of a rock
climbing Englishman, and last but not least, she is a time impaired mixed
media artist. Kerry and her family are currently splitting there time
between Bothell and Lancashire, England, while they decide where they want
to commit to living "the rest of their lives." Kerry first delved seriously
into her artistic pursuits while living in England. She started making wire
jewelry and people took and interest, and she sold some. The validation
helped to grow some artistic confidence, and the jewelry soon evolved into
larger, less wearable forms and made their way on to boards and canvases.
This art form was then met with Kerry's love of texture, color and collage.
The artwork that you see in our lobby is the conglomeration of all of
Kerry's visual, tactile and color interests and experiments.
